BACK-SET PLATINUM is an acid alternative with no fumes or odors. This safe, but effective alternative is a newly developed concept in chemistry. Meets ASTM G-31 Non-corrosive! Does not contain muriatic, hydrochloric, hyrdoflouric, sulfuric, or phosphoric acids. The active ingredient occurs naturally in sugar cane syrup.

BACK-SET PLATINUM may be used to remove cured cement, concrete, mortar, grout and stucco off virtually any surface without harm.

It works

Cured Concrete was down a floor drain and clogged a p-trap. It took about 5 or 6 hours but I was able to punch through with a snake like it was still mud. I would recommend over sawing up the floor any day!
